Breguet XIV B.2 by PEGASUS MODELS 1/72 scale, short run injection mold.

Designed by Louis Breguet, the protoype of the 14B2 was delivered on 12 April 1917 and production of the type started in the summer of 1917. Breguet aeroplanes were at no time notable for their aesthetic appeal, but what it lacked in beauty was balanced by sturdy purposefulness. The airframe was remarkable in the extensive use of duralumin throughout the plane which made it able to withstand well the rigors of operational flying.

"The precise total of Breguet 14's of all types that were produced is not know with certainty, but it is believed that 5,500 were ordered under wartime contracts. By the time production ended in 1926 at least 8,000 had been built and the ultimate total may well have been much greater" Profile Publications #157, page 16

This model depicits a plane used by the Escadrille BR504 in Salonika during 1918. The kit was built in 1998 and is a typical Pegasus kit with decals and metal parts.
